Recipe: Gluten Free Pie Crust.(using almond meal)

Desserts - Pies and Tarts
I just went looking for a pie crust for an aple pie I hope you can use this:

For one 9-inch tart pan:
1 cup Almond Meal
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons chilled butter
1 1/2 tablespoons of cream or non-dairy cream

In a food processor, blend all ingredients until dough clumps together. Chill 15 minutes.

Roll out dough on wax paper dusted with either cornstarch or tapioca flour. Transfer to a 9-inch tart pan.

Fill and bake or pre bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

When I made a gluten crust I would place a piece of foil on top of the crust then pour in some uncooked beans to keep it from becoming misshapened.

Enjoy!
