Recipe: Butterscotch Haystacks and Turtles (using potato chips/sticks)

BUTTERSCOTCH HAYSTACKS

2 pkgs. (6 oz. each) butterscotch chips
1 (1 1/2 oz.) can potato sticks
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) can cocktail peanuts (without skins)

Melt morsels and peanut butter in double boiler. Stir in potato sticks and peanuts. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Let stand overnight.

TURTLES

1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 cups ripple potato chips, crushed
1 1/2 cups unsalted, dry roasted peanuts

Melt the chips - chocolate and butterscotch - in double boiler or microwave. Stir in the crushed potato chips and peanuts. Drop on waxed paper. Store in refrigerator.
