Recipe(tried): Greek Chicken with Yogurt and Honey

GREEK CHICKEN WITH YOGURT AND HONEY

1 chicken
salt and pepper
pinch of oregano
fresh lemon juice from 1 lemon

Wash and pat dry the chicken, chop chicken in pieces... sprinkle with all the other ingredients and place in a bowl, refrigerate for few hours or even better overnight.

Drain the chicken and discard the juices.

In a frying pan add 1/3 cup olive oil, add the chicken and fry on all sides until is brown. Add 1 cup of water, salt and pepper. Cover and let simmer on medium-low temperature until the yogurt sauce is ready.

MEANWHILE PREPARE THE HONEY/YOGURT SAUCE:
8 oz greek yogurt (if the yogurt is too thick add some water to dilute)
2 eggs
3 to 4 tablespoons honey (add more if you like the sweeter taste)

Mix the sauce very well and place in the pan over the chicken.

Cover and let cook for another 30 minutes on medium low temperature. Check the dish for salt and pepper and serve.
