Recipe: Merle Ellis Eastern-Style BBQ Sauce (1980's)

Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
MERLE ELLIS EASTERN-STYLE BBQ SAUCE

2 quarts cider vinegar
1/4 cup salt
1 Tbsp red pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp black pepper

Combine all ingredients, mix well. Allow to stand 4 hours before using.

Yield: about 2 quarts.
