Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
HAMBURGER GRAVY

1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 cups water
1 (0.87-oz.) pkg. brown gravy mix
2 cups frozen cut green beans (from 1-lb. pkg.)
1 cup frozen sliced carrots
Mashed potatoes or biscuits (optional, for serving)

In large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain.

Meanwhile, in 2-cup measuring cup or small bowl combine water and gravy mix; mix well. Add gravy, green beans and carrots to skillet. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are crisp-tender and gravy is thickened, stirring frequently.

If desired, serve over mashed potatoes or biscuits.

Makes 4 servings (1 cup each)
