Misc. Cecilia ~ I should have thought before I posted that recipe. Here are a few recipes that closely resemble Heath bars. Hope all of these ingredients are availaable to you. Happy cooking.

Recipe: Heath Bars

8 Soda crackers (such as saltines).
1 cup real butter
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips.
Line 8 x 11 pan with aluminum foil, lightly oiled. Line
with crackers (4 1/2 x 3). Boil hard for 2 1/2 minutes
the butter and sugar. Slowly pour over crackers and
put in 350 degree oven for 5 more minutes. Remove
from oven and pour chips on top. Wait a minute and
then spread.

Toffee Bars
" Rich, buttery cookie that tastes like a Heath Bar. "
Ingredients
6 graham crackers
1 cup blanched slivered almonds
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup packed light brown sugar
11 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy
bar, chopped
Directions:
Preheat over to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray 11 x 15 inch jelly
roll pan with non-stick spray.
Completely cover with a single layer of graham crackers. Sprinkle with
almonds.
Combine butter, vanilla, and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan. Place
over medium heat and bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil for
1
minute.
Carefully pour evenly over crackers (this mixture is hot!). Bake for 8
minutes. Let cool for 3 to 4 minutes.
Evenly space chocolate bars over cracker/toffee mixture. Wait 1
minute and spread chocolate to cover. When completely cool, cut into
2 inch squares or break into pieces.

2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 (6 oz) pkg chocolate chips
chopped nuts
Grease 7' X 11" pan. Line bottom with crackers. Place brown sugar and
buter in saucepan. Cook over low heat until melted. Boil for 3
minutes.
Pour over the crackers and bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven and scatter chocolate chips on top. Spread chips over
crackers as they melt and sprinkle with nuts. Let cool.
