Recipe: Honey Pancakes with Honey Cinnamon Syrup (Bisquick recipe)

HONEY PANCAKES WITH HONEY CINNAMON SYRUP

Honey Cinnamon Syrup (recipe follows)
2 cups Bisquick Original Baking Mix
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg

Prepare honey cinnamon syrup: keep warm.

Stir remaining ingredients until blended.

Heat griddle or skillet; grease if necessary.

Pour pancake batter by scant 1/2 cupfuls onto hot griddle. Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden brown.

Serve with syrup.

HONEY CINNAMON SYRUP

3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Heat all ingredients in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warm.

Makes 12 pancakes
