Hot Fruit - Easter Ham Accompaniment
rec.food.recipes/L. Riofski (1996)

I got this recipe from a friend several years ago and it is best on a holiday table where ham or sausage is served. It is very rich and unique--a big hit at our Easter dinner table.

1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg, ground

1 large can peach halves, drained
1 large can pear halves, drained
1 can pineapple chunks, drained or 2 cups fresh cut pineapple
1 cup red grapes, whole
1 cup green grapes, whole

Melt butter and mix with sugar and spices. Pour over fruit and bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees. Serve warm.
