Recipe: Skillet Noodles Divan (using noodles and sauce mix) (1987)

SKILLET NOODLES DIVAN

2 cups broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup diced onion
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (13 3/4-fluid ounce) can College Inn Chicken Broth
1 (4.5-ounce) package noodles and sauce mix, sour cream and chive flavor
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

In large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook broccoli and onion in margarine until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes.

Stir in chicken broth; heat to a boil. Stir in noodles and sauce mix and mushrooms. Continue boiling, stirring frequently, 7 to 8 minutes or until noodles are cooked.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
