Recipe(tried): How to Freeze Onions

Sandi, What I do with onions and bell peppers is dice them up and put the pieces into ice cube trays and muffin tins for larger amounts, cover with water and freeze. When they are frozen, put into doubled freezer bags. When I need a small amount, I put a cube or 2 in a strainer and run water over it for a bit to remove the ice. The onions will be soft but taste fine and the peppers are fine too. hope this helps.
