It is only safe to make and freeze or refrigerate. If in the fridge, if it has butter and milk, etc. just a few days.
There is no safe way to can it and keep in the pantry.
Sealing the jar will actually allow any bacteria to grow more quickly, if it were botulism, since it grows in the absence of air, as in a sealed jar.
