IMPERIAL MARGARINE SUGAR COOKIES
2 sticks (1 cup) Imperial margarine
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar
Cream margarine and sugar together. Beat until fluffy. Add flour and baking soda. Beat until combined. Add vinegar. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, or until done.
IMPERIAL MARGARINE SUGAR COOKIES #2
2 sticks (1 cup) Imperial Margarine (no substitutes!)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 3/4 cups sifted flour
Beat margarine, sugar and baking soda together 15 minutes on medium speed. (This is a must to ensure light, airy cookies.) Add vanilla and vinegar. Stir in flour. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes (until slightly tan).
Makes 3 dozen
