Recipe(tried): In place of sweets always
Misc.Zuba, I have a friend I always make a big container of home made chicken soup. she knows she is getting it and looks forward to it. Sometimes at the holiday time she uses it as a quick evening meal or she may freeze it for later. Another person I have given a bag of homemade noodles, bean soup mix and a loaf of fresh bread. I give lots of jellies and homemade pickles, etc that I have canned during the summer. Most people seem to enjoy these items. For treats at work, I have found that fruit trays, cheese cubes or even a cheese ball and crackers are often a welcome change. These make good gifts also. Hope these ideas will at least get you thinking. Merry Christams.
