Recipe: Lemon Whippersnappers (cookies using cake mix and Cool Whip)

LEMON WHIPPERSNAPPERS

1 (17 1/4-oz.) pkg. lemon cake mix
2 cups frozen whipped topping (4 1/2-oz. carton), thawed
1 egg
1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.

Combine (dry) cake mix, whipped topping and egg in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.

Drop by teaspoon into powdered sugar and roll to coat. Place 1 1/2-inches apart on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees 10-15 minutes, until light and golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet.
