Recipe(tried): Instant Boiled Custard

Hi To All My TKL Friends, I just thought of something else in regard to Schmitty's request below. It's an even easier recipe for boiled custard and as good as if not better than the "old fashion version"

INSTANT BOILED CUSTARD

1 pint heavy (whipping) cream
1 small pkg. french vanilla INSTANT pudding
1/2 cup sugar
1 quart half and half

Whip cream until slightly thick. Add pudding to thickened cream. Add sugar. Mix well and add half & half. Beat until creamy. Chill until set.

When ready to serve, if a thinner consistency is desired, stir and add extra milk.
