Recipe: Instant Herb Oil (blender)
Herbs and SpicesINSTANT HERB OIL
"This 1-2-3 recipe is perfect to drizzle over bread, cheese or salad."
1 cup packed fresh Italian parsley or basil leaves, rinsed and thoroughly dried
1/2 cup safflower light olive oil or grapeseed oil
1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
pinch of salt
Line sieve with cheesecloth; set over bowl; set aside.
Puree all ingredients in a blender. Pour mixture through sieve, pressing with spoon. Discard solids.
Makes 1/2 cup
