Recipe(tried): Jello Lime Nut Salad

Misc.

Here is a recipe for a Jello Salad I use all the time. I make mine with
the Sugar Free Jello and Cool Whip Lite. I'm not sure if this is what you're
looking for, but it is good.

Lime Nut Salad

1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup boiling water
1 pkg Jello Lime Gelatin

3/4 cup non-fat plain yogurt
1/3 cup non-fat dry milk powder
2 TBS. sugar (I don't use)
3/4 cup Cool Whip
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (I don't use)

Bring pineapple (& juice) and water to a boil in a medium saucepan, remove from heat, stir in Jello until dissolved. Refridgerate 30 min.
In medium bowl combine yogurt and powdered milk, fold gently into Jello mix. Add sugar & Cool Whip, mix gently to combine. Add cottage cheese and walnuts.
Pour into a 8 X 8 square pan.

I change the Jello flavors, and add extra fruit, always use the pineapple in the basic recipe. Strawberry Jello with frozen strawberries is great, cut down on the water a bit. Same with raspberry.
