Recipe(tried): Kentucky Pie - several versions

I have several versions of the recipe, the first one I have used many times, the rest I haven't. These are all from community or church cookbooks.

KENTUCKY PIE

1 c sugar
1/2 c flour
1 stick butter, melted
2 beaten eggs
1 (6 oz) pkg chocolate chips
1 c pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1 9 inch unbaked pie shell

mix together sugar and flour. add oleo and blend well. stir in eggs, chips, nuts and vanilla. pour into pie shell and bake 325 for 1 hour, or until golden brown. This is very rich. It is the recipe of Senator and Mrs. Wendell Ford. From Seasons of Thyme

KENTUCKY PIE

1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1/2 c flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chocolate chips
1 c chopped nuts
1 9 inch unbaked crust

melt and cool butter. Mix flour and sugar. add other ingredients - adding chips and nuts last. pour into crust and bake at 350 for 35 min.

4 eggs
3/4 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c white syrup
1 stick butter, may be melted
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 c pecans
1 c chocolate chips
2 unbaked 9 inch pie shells

mix above ingredients and pour into two shells. bake 350 for 45 min. May be frozen.

KENTUCKY PIE

prebake a nine inch pie shell; cool completely

2 eggs
1 c sugar
1/2 c flour
1/2 c unsalted butter or margarine, melted and cooled
3 tbs whiskey
1 c walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 c chocolate chips (semi sweet)

Preheat to 350. beat the eggs until foamy and light. gradually beat in the sugar. mix in the flour, butter, whiskey, walnuts, and chocolate chips. turn into pie shell and bake 35 min.
