Since you mentioned that it was "sweet", I'm assuming that you're not talking about kimchi. Therefore, I suggest that you take my Japanese Daikon & Carrot Salad (Namasu) recipe, and add a touch of sesame oil and minced or grated garlic (or garlic powder) to make the dish "Korean".
I hope it's close to what you're looking for....
