L.A. SCHOOLS SAUERKRAUT RELISH
From the Los Angeles City Unified School District.
Recipe card dated February 1965.
1 (1 pound) jar sauerkraut
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup sugar
Drain sauerkraut and chop fine. Add celery, onion, green pepper and sugar. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before using.
Makes 2 1/2 cups
