Recipe(tried): Fried Ripe Tomatoes

Side Dishes - Assorted
Hi Julie,

I'm from MO, so hello neighbor. I was taught by my grandmother to fry the tomatoes ripe but firm.

FRIED RIPE TOMATOES

In one bowl put two eggs and a little milk; beat with fork.

Place flour in another bowl (you can add garlic and salt and pepper).

Slice ripe but firm tomatoes a little thick

Double dip the tomato slices in egg mixture then flour like you would onion rings.

Put grease in your skillet on about six and when hot fry the tomato slices.

I hope this helps you..Joy
