Recipe(tried): Large Batch of Incredible Oatmeal Cookies

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars

I can't help with why your cookies didn't work, but I do have an incredible cookie recipe for you. It makes a huge batch of cookies, but you can freeze the dough and make a dozen or so whenever you need them. These also make great cookie ice cream sandwiches.

Large Batch of Incredible Oatmeal Cookies

4 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 c. margarine
Cream together. Add 4 eggs and mix well. Add:
5 c. flour
4 c. rolled oats
1 c. wheat germ
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 teaspoons baking soda
3 c. coconut.
Mix well. May add chocolate chips or raisins ( 4-6 cups). Bake 350 F oven 12-14 minutes. Allow to cool on pan before removing.

Enjoy!

P.S. You can also bake the entire batch and freeze the cookies. They freeze well.
