Recipe(tried): Lasagna Sauce Tips - I hope this helps

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
TLG:
Good Morning. Yes, Use any Tomato sauce you like. I do not like to use the meat choice because I like to make my own chopped meat & I then insert it into the sauce during the last 20-30 minutes. I would choose the plain variety & mix in whatever you like. I neglected to mention to you to add about almost a 1/4 cup of chopped up onions into the mix. Make your own adjustments as you keep making this recipe. Wine is good but only at the very end because as the sauce is cooking it will evaporate together with the water content that is in the sauce. One more thing I forgot to mention to you & very, very, very important. You can cover your sauce-pan if you like, but not entirely leave space for "REDUCTION" That is the secret as well the water content in the sauce must evaporate in order to become "SAUCE". Good Luck & have a nice day.
