Recipe(tried): Lasagna without Boiling Noodles

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
I quit cooking the noodles for lasagna first about 7 years ago when my twins were born (I quit doing a lot of things then!) and just used a different technique.

I run the raw noodles under water so they can pick up a little moisture, and include extra tomato sauce of a thin variety to the top layer. Cover with foil and cook for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees, remove foil and cook another 15 or so, depending on how you like it.

When I take the time to create a mess of this magnitude, I always prepare two pans, and freeze one uncooked and add extra thin sauce before cooking it. Also this method works well for spinach type lasagnas which tend to be a little watery anyway!

Have fun, I will think of you while I am busy making mine!
