Leesa, Il.- Here's the Grasshopper Pie recipe that I promised you. I hope that it is similar to the one that you remember from your dinner party.

Grasshopper Pie

Crust: in a blender, crush 20 chocolate cream-filled cookies (Oreo's)-yield 1-1/2 cups. Combine with 1/4 cup melted butter and press into pie plate and refrigerate while preparing---
Filling:
30 lg. or 3 cups miniture marshmallows
3/4 cup milk
2-3 Tbsp. white cream de cacao
2-3 Tbsp. green cream de menthe
1 cup whipping cream, whipped or 2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed

In a medium saucepan, combine marshmallows and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted. Stir in cream de cacao and cram de menthe. Cool until mixture is thickened, but not set. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into prepared pie shell and chill at least 4 hours.
