Recipe: Lemon-Lime Pineapple Salad (pineapple, sour cream, and marshmallows) (RealLemon, 1982)

LEMON-LIME PINEAPPLE SALAD

1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple Water
1/3 cup ReaLemon1 Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1 (6-ounce) package lime flavor gelatin
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
2 cups white miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Add water to liquid to make 2 2/3 cups.

In 2-quart saucepan, bring ReaLemon and 2/3 cup liquid to a boil: stir in gelatin until dissolved. Remove from heat. Add sour cream and beat with electric mixer: stir in remaining liquid. Chill until partially set.

Fold in remaining ingredients: pour into 6-cup mold. Chill until set.

TO SERVE:
Unmold. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 12 servings
