Recipe(tried): Lemon Meatloaf

If you want a really different meatloaf I am submitting one that appears in a local church cookbook.

Lemon Meatloaf

1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 lb. ground pork, 1/4 c. lemon juice, 1/2 c. water, 1 egg, beaten, 1/3 c. chopped onion, 2 ts. salt, 4 slices bread, crumbled. Combine and place in loaf pan.

For topping mix 1/3 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. catsup, , and 1 ts. dry mustard. Place thin lemon slices on top and bake at 325 for 1 hour.

I've used this many times, and always use fresh lemon juice.
