Recipe: Macaroni and Cheese (using Cheddar and Velveeta cheese)

MACARONI AND CHEESE

2 cups macaroni, uncooked
6 tbsp. butter or margarine, divided use
3 tbsp. flour
1 3/4 cups milk
1 (10 oz.) stick extra sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
1 (1/2 lb.) pkg. Velveeta cheese, cubed
6 slices bread cubes (for topping)

Cook macaroni according to package directions.

Melt 2 tbsp. butter in heavy 2 quart pan over medium heat. Stir in flour, gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

Add cheese, stir until melted. Pour in 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Add macaroni.

Melt the remaining 4 tbsp. butter in pan. Add bread cubes and coat with butter. Spread on top of macaroni.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
