MAGIC BULLET SIX-SECOND CHICKEN SALAD
1/4 of a cored apple (about 1/4 cup)
slice of onion (about 1/8 cup)
3/4 cup cooked chicken (leftovers, even luncheon meat)
2 tbsp. walnuts
1 to 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Add the ingredients in the order they appear to the Short Cup and twist on the Cross Blade.
Then use the quick Pulse technique to chop and mix the ingredients. Just press down on the cup and release the pressure immediately, pause and let the ingredients settle (or use the Tap technique), then quickly Pulse again until you've reached a good consistency.
Rembember to apply a bit of counter-clockwise pressure to the cup to keep it from Locking On.
Then spread between two slices of bread and enjoy.
VARIATIONS:
Chicken salad is very versatile. Feel free to add other things into your list of ingredients. Try sprinkling in a little nutmeg or cinnamon. Serve on toast, or add a scoop on top of a mixed green salad.
FAT FREE VERSION:
Use fat-free chicken brothw and fat-free ranch dressing, or fat-free plain yogurt, instead of mayonnaise for a zesty fat-free lunch or dinner.
STUFFED TOMATOES OR PEPPERS:
Hollow out the inside of a tomato or pepper and fill with chicken salat.
MICK'S CURRY CHICKEN SALAD:
Skip the apples and walnuts and add a dash or two of curry powder.
