Recipe: Maple Syrup Pie ---(1930's)

Misc.

Vintage Gal - I have a cookbook of my mother's dated 1939. This recipe was checked, so I'm sure I ate it when I was a child, though I don't remember it.
If you are interested in anything special, I can look it up and post it.

Maple Syrup Pie

3 eggs
1/4 C butter
1/2 C sugar
1 C maple syrup
1/2 C nuts, if desired

Beat butter, add sugar, beat well, then add slightly beaten eggs.
Mix thoroughly and add syrup and nuts.

Pour into a baked pie shell (not brown)
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees
Makes one 9" pie.
