Meat Loaf with Barbecue-Style Sauce
Here is a meat loaf with a sauce that is kind of like a barbecue sauce. You can use Barbecue sauce as a topping, also catsup makes a good topping. Just make your meat loaf and spread either one over the top before baking.

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 onion, diced
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
3 tablespooons vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

Mix chuck, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, garlic and 1/2 can tomato suace together lightly with a fork. Form into a loaf and place in a shallow pan. Combine rest of tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, mustard and worcestershire sauce and pour over meat loaf. Bake 1 hour in a 350 degree oven. Baste occasionally.
