Recipe: Meatballs to Serve with Spaghetti Sauce (BH&G, 1950's)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
MEATBALLS TO SERVE WITH SPAGHETTI SAUCE

3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, well-beaten
1 sprig parsley, chopped (or 1 tbsp. parsley flakes)
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Combine all ingredients; mix thoroughly. Form into small balls.

Brown in hot fat.

Add to sauce and cook over low heat 15 minutes.

Serve over spaghetti.

Makes 6 servings
