Recipe: Mueller's Classic Baked Ziti (2001)

MUELLER'S CLASSIC BAKED ZITI (2001)

1 tablespoon Mazola Oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 jar (28 oz) prepared meatless spaghetti sauce
16 ounces Mueller's Ziti (about 6 cups), cooked and drained
3 cups (12 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1. In 2-quart saucepan heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; stirring frequently, cook 2 minutes. Add spaghetti sauce. Stirring occasionally, bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

2. In large bowl combine spaghetti sauce, ziti and 2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese; spoon into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and the Parmesan cheese. Bake in 350 degree F oven 15 minutes or until heated through.
