Recipe: Naturally Nutty Pate (Fleischmann's recipe) (blender or food processor)

1/3 cup uncooked brown rice
Boiling water
2 tablespoons Fleischmann's Unsalted Margarine
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup grated zucchini
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon crushed fresh garlic
1 egg
1/4 cups ground Planters Dry Roasted Unsalted Mixed Nuts
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon tarragon
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Prepare rice in boiling water according to package directions eliminating salt; set aside.
Melt margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, zucchini, onion and garlic; saute until tender but not browned.
Puree sauteed vegetables in blender or food processor; transfer to a mixing bowl; set aside.
Place prepared rice and egg in blender or processor and blend until smooth. Add to vegetable mixture with remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Spread into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden around edges. Cool 30 minutes. Loosen edges with knife. Remove and cool on wire rack.
Wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve
Makes 1 loaf (9 x 5 x 2-inches)
