No Bake Frying Pan Cookies

3/4 cup sugar
1 cup chopped dates
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup corn flakes
1 cup Rice Krispies
1/2 pkg. coconut

In heavy skillet mix sugar, dates, and eggs. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture pulls away from sides of skillet. Add vanilla and nuts. Cook 3 minutes more. Carefully add cereals.

Wet hands in cold water and form into balls. Roll into coconut. Cool.
