Recipe: No-Crust Fudge Pie

NO-CRUST FUDGE PIE

3 sticks (1 1/2 cups) butter, melted
4 1/2 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
6 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.*

Melt butter and chocolate together. Add sugar and beat thoroughly. Add flour and eggs and beat until well mixed. Add vanilla, nuts. Pour into greased 13x9-inch pan.

Bake at 325F for 25-30 minutes.

*This recipe is tripled so if desired it can be cut into thirds and baked in 3 pie plates (glass). Baking time may be reduced.
