Recipe(tried): No more cracks in cheesecake!

Definately use a water bath..just fill a baking pan 1/2 full of water, and place on rack underneath the cake. When you take the cake out of the oven, run a knife around the edge of the cake to gently separate it from the pan. The cake shrinks when cooling, and being attached to the side of the pan can cause cracks and tears.

With these two tips, I have never had a cracked cheesecake, and I make them all the time!
