Chocolate chip Toffee Bars
Recipe By : Holiday Exchange.

2 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
3/4c. butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 c. semi sweet choc. chips, divided
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
1 14oz. can sweetened cond. milk
1 3/4 c. Skor English toffee bits
Heat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13" pan. In a large bowl, stir together flour
and br. sugar. Cut in butteruntil course crumbs. Add egg, mix well. Stir
in 1 1/2c. choc. chips and the nuts. Reserve 1 1/2c. mixture. Press
remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Pour milk evenly over hot crust, top with toffee bits. Sprinkle reserved
crumb mixture and remaining 1/2 c. choc. chips over the top. Bake for 25 to
30 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 c. toffee
bits. Cool before cutting. Makes about 36 bars.Susan,IL (3:14:57 PM) :

1/2 c Brown Sugar, Packed
1/2 c Sugar
2 C Oatmeal
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 C Butter Or Margarine -- melted
Topping
1/2 C Peanut Butter
1/2 C Milk Chocolate Chips

Mix sugars, oatmeal and melted butter. Press into a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake 375 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter or margarine -- softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar -- packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 each eggs
2 cups white chocolate chips -- 12 ounce pkgCombine flours, cocoa, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanillain large mixing bowl till creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add in flour mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by well-rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 9-11 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.Dawn,NY (6:32:58 PM) :

Marianted Asparagus

2 lbs fresh asparagus
Marinade: 1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup salad oil
2/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 med onion, finely chopped
1/2 med green pepper, finely chopped
Dressing: 1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1/8 tsp dried dill weed
Lettuce Leaves

Partially cook asparagus, removing it at the crisp-tender stage. Plunge it into cold water to stop the cooking. Drain and place in a dish. Combine ingredients for the marinade and pour mixture
over asparagus. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.

To serve, lift asparagus from marinade and place on lettuce leaves. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dill weed and 3 Tbsp marinade. Mix well. Spoon dressing over asparagus. Makes
8servings.
