Recipe(tried): Oil and Vinegar Dressing with Blue Cheese, not Houston restaurant
Salads - Salad DressingsThis recipe is not the one from the Houston restaurant however it is a good dressing. I hope that this will work for you.
OIL AND VINEGAR WITH BLUE CHEESE
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup canola oil
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup Blue cheese, crumbled
Combine the vinegars, lemon juice, Worcestershire, mustard, garlic, and pepper in a food processor or blender. Begin blending, slowly drizzling in both oils.
When this is complete, remove from the food processor or blender and whisk in the cheeses by hand. Do not mix the cheeses for a long period. Season with salt to taste.
