Recipe: Sandwich Wrappers - Strollers, Bread Nests, and Sandwich Logs

STROLLERS
Makes 1 stroller; serves 1
Slice a piece of pita bread in half horizontally to make 2 thin flat rounds. Place some filling and shredded vegetables on each and roll up. Roll each bread in waxed paper, tucking ends in as you roll.
To eat, just peel down from top as you go.
BREAD NESTS
Makes 1 nest; serves 1
Nests are crisp little hollow forms that hold fillings.
Cut crusts from a slice of bread (save crust for making burgers).With a rolling pin, roll out bread slightly. Butter both sides lightly and push into muffin tin. Repeat for more nests.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
Send filling in a thermos and fill the nest at eating time (the nests will get soggy if pre-filled; they store well for 2 days).

My youngest child is very fond of these. She says that they are valuable trade items.
These can be eaten as a log or cut Into 1-inch-thick slices to make pinwheels.
