Thought you might like to try our family's roast chicken recipe. My Mom got it from a popular restaurant during WW2 in the l940's. Here goes (it's to taste):
3-4 lb. chicken, washed and dried
olive oil
celery salt
garlic powder
paprika
black pepper
Rub the olive oil generously into the chicken. Then sprinkle a moderate amount of the celery salt onto the chicken followed by lighter amounts of the remaining spices. Roast the chicken at 375' for about 20 minutes per pound or according to your roasters' recommendations. Enjoy!
