Recipe: Party Salmon Spread (blender)

PARTY SALMON SPREAD

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup water
1 (16-oz can) salmon
1 cup onion, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp dill weed
1/4 tsp pepper
4 sprigs parsley
TO SERVE:
assorted crackers
pimiento (optional)
green onion, sliced

Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup water. Dissolve in pan set over hot water.

Place salmon, onion, sour cream, lemon juice garlic salt, dill weed, pepper, and parsley in blender container. Run on low until smooth and well-blended.

Stir in gelatin mixture. Pour into 5-cup mold. Chill until firm.

TO SERVE:
Turn out on serving dish; garnish with additional parsley, pimiento, and sliced green onion, if desired. Serve with assorted crackers.
