Recipe: Pasta with Putnesca Sauce (using black beans and capers)

PASTA WITH PUTANESCA SAUCE

1 lb linguine, cooked and drained
3 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
1 tin anchovy fillets (cut up with kitchen scissors)
1 can sliced stewed tomatoes
1 can black beans, drained, rinsed
2 or 3 tablespoons of capers

While pasta is cooking make sauce.

Saute garlic with anchovies. When anchovies are mush add tomatoes, beans, and capers. Simmer a little to warm

Ladle sauce onto cooked linguine.
