Recipe(tried): Peanut Butter Balls (using Rice Krispies)

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
My family loves these balls at Christmas time. I hope that you enjoy them.

PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

3 cups Rice Krispies, crushed
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine, softened
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 lb. bar milk chocolate*
6 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips*
1 slab food grade paraffin*

Mix the peanut butter and margarine together; add the confectioners' sugar and then the Rice Krispies. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Chill.

Melt chocolates and paraffin together. Dip balls in chocolate and place on waxed paper to dry. Store in air tight container in cool place or refrigerator.

*I cheat and use dark chocolate almond bark, which can be melted in the microwave, to dip them in. This eliminates the milk chocolate, semisweet chocolate and parafin.
