Recipe(tried): Peanut Butter Bars for Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,
I'm sure this isn't the exact recipe you are looking for ,however, it's fantastic and you can play around with the recipe a bit and add butterscotch bits etc. These get rave reviews each time I bake them. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Bars
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup oats
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
4 Tbs. Peanut Butter
4 Tbs. Milk
In mixing bowl cream butter and sugars together, add vanilla and eggs, mix well. Combine dry ingredients, stir into creamed mixture, add chocolate chips, mix well. Spread into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20- 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes. Combine icing ingredients: drizzle over bars. Recipe may be halved and made in a 13X9 pan. Enjoy!
