Recipe: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie Filling

As promised, here is that filling recipe.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie Filling

4eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 c milk
2/3 c powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla essence
1 c creamy peanut butter
100g chocolate chips

(apricot jam to glaze, optional)

whisk eggs. Add cream, milk, sugar, vanilla and peanut butter. Mix the ingredients well.
Scatter some chocolate chips evenly in the bas of the prebaked pie crust before pouring in peanut butter custard. Bake for 35 minutes at 175C/350F until the custard sets. Half way through scatter the remaining chocolate chips over the custard. Glaze with jam.

Note: if you like bananas, add 1/2 c mashed banana to the filling
