Recipe(tried): Marie's Meatballs (with mushrooms and onion)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
MARIE'S MEATBALLS

1 1/2 lb ground beef (the best)
1 cup Italian-seasoned dried bread crumbs
1 small onion, diced
1 egg
2 tablespoon grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil

Combine all the ingredients, except the olive oil, together. Roll into small meatballs and brown in a small amount of olive oil.

You can then simmer them in spaghetti sauce for at least 1 1/2 hours on low heat in a covered pan. Enjoy!
