Peanut Butter Cookies

Here's my recipe for peanut butter cookies, but it doesn't use a cake mix. this is the best recipe i have ever come across.

1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

preheat oven to 350*. in mixing bowl combine egg and sugar. stir in peanut butter and vanilla.

roll dough into a golfball size and place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. with back of fork, press a criss cross in the top of each cookie. bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. cool on rack. makes 24 cookies
