PERFECT APPLE PIE

1 (15 ounce) package PIllsbury All Ready PIe Crusts
1 teaspoon flour
FOR THE FILLING:
6 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Prepare pie crust according to package directions for two-crust pie using 9-inch pie plate.

In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; toss lightly. Spoon apple mixture into pie crust-lined pan. Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places.

Bake at 425 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender.* (Place pan on foil or cookie sheet during baking to guard against spillage.)

*Cover edge of pie crust with strip of foil during last 10 to 15 minutes of baking if necessary to prevent excessive browning.
