Recipe: Pina Colada Smoothie

Makes about 6 (6 oz) servings
1/2 cup pina colada smoothie base (recipe follows)
1 small ripe banana
1 cup pineapple juice
4 cups ice cubes
3/4 cup rum (optional)
Fresh Fruit (optional)
Prepare Pina Colada Smoothie Base. In blender combine 1/2 cup Smoothie Base with banana and pineapple juice; process until smooth. With blender running, add ice cubes, several at a time, then rum. Process until thick and smooth. If desired, garnish with fresh fruit.

1 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple in unsweetened juice, undrained
1 can (15 oz) cream of coconut
1/4 cup lime juice
In blender combine all ingredients; process until smooth. Store covered in refrigerator up to 1 week.
